As you walk through the cloisters of the former Hospital de la Santa Creu you’ll come across the original hospital pharmacy dating from 1417. It’s the oldest one in Europe and is currently home to the Reial Acadèmia de Farmàcia de Catalunya. Inside you’ll find the furnishings that have been perfectly preserved, the original ceramic medicine jars and the window dating from 1696, which was used to dispense the medicines.
